Tender’s Cotton Acetate Spectacles are hand made in England. The frames are cut from acetate derived from cotton pulp, and the front is shaped and cut from a single slab and carved by hand to fit around the nose and cheekbones.

The hinges are deadstock 1940s swiss-made 7 chewier hinges and the quality of these are second to none. Compared to weaker ones with less chewier commonly used by other brands today that might break or deform after being used for a while, these hinges will stay steady after years of use. The earpieces have a signature drilled hole that holds a thick cotton neck cord when delivered. The neck cord is easy to untie if one prefer to wear the glasses without it.
